Love for Italy’s wine and spirits, family who sustains each other’s decisions, and enthusiastic to import ethnic products is what inspired Lisa, a 21 year-old university graduate in languages, to establish The Golden Valley Estate together with her father Bruno.

In February 2000, The Golden Valley Estate was up and running and soon after, the father-daughter team flew to Italy to participate in Vinitaly; an acclaimed international wine fair held in Verona, Italy. Their first business trip was a success as shortly after they launched their first product, Bonollo Prugna – Plum Liquer, in LCBO stores. Now, 11 years after, they have over 20 products from Italy and Australia; they serve LCBO stores and through Consignment offer their services to the restaurant and private sector.

New to the team, from Italy, Raffaele has now become the driving force of The Golden Valley Estate. Business partnerships have expanded, services have increased, and annual sales have tripled.
